Private Counselling

£65.00 | 50 minutes

Counselling is a journey of self- discovery aimed at exploring the values and core beliefs that make you who you are. Identifying these core beliefs and values helps us to focus on who you would like to be and what changes you would like to make.

Exploring the past and how this may have impacted on the present, working in the present to understand, accept and work on changing unhelpful behaviours. Then exploring goals and hopes for the future.

The cost of a private 50 minute session is £65.00, however, a sliding scale can be applied for those on a low income or benefits.

Group Counselling

£40.00 | 50 minutes

A client that is ready to explore oneself in group therapy opens themselves up to a whole host of therapeutic benefits. Not only is this a safe, confidential and non-judgemental space but it offers a sense of community, a place of hope, and an environment where we can recognise we are not alone with our problems and anxieties.

Benefits of Counselling

Counselling provides an environment to be heard, it’s a safe, non-judgemental and confidential space in which to share your anxieties, concerns or unhelpful behaviours and help you explore different ways to manage.

Sharing

Shared experiences in the groups may help us identify useful coping mechanisms that we might not have thought of. The sharing provides the individual with a purpose, recognising that they are valued within the group thus gaining confidence and self-esteem.

Social Skills

Social skills can be developed, working on tolerance, boundary setting, empathy and conflict management. This helps reduce isolation and promotes connection to the group and in time relationships outside of the group where you can safely and confidently apply the above.

Interpersonal Learning

Belonging in a group is a magical place to be, it provides acceptance and value. There is freedom from having the space to release strong and repressed emotions. Interpersonal learning provides the group members the chance to learn about relationships and intimacy, helping to develop supportive, authentic interpersonal relationships.
